NBA Finals 2012: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat – Watch Game 5 Online Live Stream

Game 5 of the NBA Finals 2012 takes place Thursday night with the Miami Heat just one victory away from becoming the NBA Champions 2012. Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Miami Heat Game 5 tips off at 9 p.m. EST and can be watched live on ABC, or alternatively fans can watch online on ESPN3 (link below).

The Heat are currently 3-1 up in the best of seven series, and have home advantage again tonight. Miami have kept their composure over recent games allowing them to win three in a row after losing the opening encounter. They have impressed by being able to close out tight games and keep their noses in front as the clock counts down.

Prior to the series, many critics believed the Thunder would have the upper hand and would be favorites for the championship, however, Miami have proved their doubters wrong, and if they are to now turn things around they will have to take the series all the way to Game 7.

However, if we're going by recent games, the Heat will not let Oklahoma back into the series and will close things out tonight.

When games have come to the high pressure moments, the Heat have held their nerve well, where as the Thunder have become frustrated, and taken some rash decisions. Russell Westbrook, who scored an amazing 43 points in Game 4, is one such example. As the Thunder were attempting to close in on the Heat's slender lead in the final moments, he committed a silly foul, which basically closed the door on any Oklahoma comeback.

One of the biggest weaknesses in the Thunder's game is their heavy reliance on just two players. In Game 4 Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored 71 points, whereas everyone else put together only managed 27 points. With only two active offensive players, the Thunder can only do so much, but if someone else can step forward they may be able to add those few extra points that can be the difference between winning and losing.
