NBA Trade Rumors: Miami Heat to Trade Chris Andersen, Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins to be Traded?

In the NBA field, trade rumors never run out. Included in the rumor mill is Chris Andersen, who is reported to be the next potential player to get on Miami Heat's trading block. According to Yibada, the Heat is not finished with shopping players yet even after trading veteran point guard Mario Chalmers to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The report was based on the Twitter post of Ethan Skolnick of the Miami Herald. ESPN's Mac Stein also speculated that the Heat is eyeing the "Birdman" this time because he will be able to help in reducing the team's luxury tax bill in 2016. Reports state that the Heat is currently $7.8 million over the tax line.

Dealing with players who have expiring contracts like Chalmers and Andersen is the best solution that Miami Heat has come up with. But aside from the luxury bill issue, Miami is shopping Andersen because of their depth at the frontcourt. After the return of Chris Bosh and the gameplay skills of Josh McRoberts, the tattoed player became expendable.

Meanwhile, Sports World Report detailed that DeMarcus Cousins has been mentioned in trade rumors. But there's a small chance that the team will go down that decision. The rumor surfaced after reports stated that Cousins had a "profane outburst" at head coach George Karl.

According to the source, Cousins exploded after losing a game against the Spurs on Monday. The Kings had expectations to improve this season, but right now, the team has a record of three wins and seven losses. They are currently in fourth place in the Pacific division of the Western Conference. Karl wanted to suspend Cousins but Sacramento Kings president Vlade Divac blocked the suspension.

Cousins later on apologized publically for the tirade in a statement to Yahoo! Sports wherein he explained that he was "frustrated with losing" and that it "got the best" of him. A meeting with the essential people took place and led to the conclusion that both Karl and Cousins will stay in Sacramento for the time being.
