'NCIS LA' Season 8 Episode 18 Spoilers: Eric and Nell Go Undercover as a Couple, Ends the Mission in Love for Real?
It is an Eric (Barrett Foam) and Nell (Renée Felice Smith) team-up in this week's episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season, "Getaway." The pair goes undercover although the roles they assume won't be too much of a stretch.
The two will have to play husband and wife for their undercover mission to get to the bottom of the U.S. Treasury Department hacking.
Eric and Nell will have to take part in a couple's retreat in "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 18, which the couple responsible for the hacking also attends.

While Kensi (Daniel Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) are the go-to agents when it comes to undercover missions, the nature of the case is in Eric and Nell's wheelhouse.
Still, it comes as a surprise to everybody. While Callen (Chris O'Donnell) assures them everything will be fine, as seen in the promo for "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 18, Kensi and Deeks mess with them a little bit.
Since Eric and Nell will have to "reconnect with nature and each other" in the episode, Deeks tries to scare them by saying that the location could practically be a setting for a horror movie.
The "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 18 promo also shows that Eric and Nell will have to share one room and bed for the event. It will be interesting to see how the two will deal with that.
They cannot afford to break character or to have their cover blown so they might as well act like a couple. Interestingly, the promo shows that the two will do a good job in doing just that.
Nell can be seen leaning on Eric for a kiss in the "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 18 preview. While this could simply be their way to convince the other participants that they are in love like them, it appears that the two are not really having a hard time pretending to have the hots for each other.
The synopsis for "NCIS: LA" season 8, episode 18 teases that while Eric and Nell are away, Digital Forensics Specialist Dave Flynn (Scott Grimes) steps up from the NCIS cyber office in San Diego to run ops.
