NCIS Los Angeles Season 6 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Hetty to be Targeted by New Villain, Callen and Sam to Be Trapped in Submarine in First Episode
The season 6 premiere of "NCIS: Los Angeles" is just days away, and it looks like Hetty and the rest of the Los Angeles team are in for a lot of action and undercover work in the upcoming season.
Show runner Shane Brennan sat down with TVLine and revealed his plans for the new season.
"We are going to make the show as noisy as we possibly can," said Brennan. "NCIS: Los Angeles" is set for some stiff competition for ratings this season as the show has been moved to the same time slot as ABC's "Castle" and NBC's "The Blacklist."
"The writers, the cast and the crew have always operated at 100 percent. We've never backed off on anything, and we're not backing off now in any way," said the show runner.
The season will kick off with the episode titled "Deep Trouble, Pt. II" which features Callen and Sam who are trapped in a submarine set by terrorists to hit an aircraft carrier in San Diego.
Meanwhile, Hetty's trip to Washington is said to be a dangerous one, as Brennan told TVLine, "The story takes Hetty to Washington, where she faces some very hostile questioning from a Senate committee trying to get the truth about what happened in Afghanistan and whether Hetty was acting outside her job description, so to speak."
"And then we discover there's more to this, that in fact Hetty is being targeted by someone. And that actually puts her life in danger," added Brennan.
Season 6 of "NCIS: Los Angeles" will premiere on Sept. 29 at 10pm ET on CBS.
