'NCIS Los Angeles' Season 7 Episode 3 Spoilers and Recap: Kensi and Deeks Go Undercover
In the forthcoming episode of "NCIS LA" entitled "Driving Miss Diaz," the official synopsis reads, "A 20-year-old Peruvian massacre is investigated after a famous fashion model, believed to be one of the survivors, becomes a potential target. Kensi goes undercover as the model's assistant, while Deeks poses as her chauffeur."
In the preview for the episode, it would seem that Kensi and Deeks are taking the lead as they both go undercover, in order to protect a famous fashion model. There is no mention of what Sam and Callen are doing, but the other duo should be running down leads and investigating from the outside.
In the promo for the episode, it shows that the team will be staging a mock photo shoot for a magazine, in order to catch the perpetrator who is targeting the model. But the plan fails and Kensi and Deeks have to go undercover. Kensi takes Deeks' phone and she sees all the photos of Catalina the model they are protecting. Catalina compliments Kensi by saying that she can't have an assistant that looks better than her.

In the preceding episode, it began with someone taking a shot at Talia while she was at her hideout. Kensi and Deeks were there when the shots rang out. Talia had been investigating her partner Agent Moore and she had discovered that he was getting bribed and he worked with the cartels.
Talia had brought her partner in but he ended up getting killed before he could tell her everything. There was a leak in a few agencies. Sam and Callen went undercover in the Citadel where the testing for agents happens.
Callen failed the test and he was approached by a man named Jon Bennett who offered him a job if he was willing to bend the rules a bit. Bennett told them about Doctor Susan Rathburn who was behind the shadow agency. She was the one who determined who to get on her side.
Rathburn was slippery as she escaped by using snipers. Hetty ended up paving the way for the team to arrest her once and for all.
In the end, Deeks introduced Kensi to his mother.
