'NCIS Los Angeles' Season 7 Spoilers: Next Episode Delves Into G. Callen's Past
In the next episode of "NCIS Los Angeles" season 7, the two-part series titled "Matryoshka" will continue and the story will shed light on Special Agent G. Callen's mysterious past.
The previous episode of "NCIS Los Angeles" season 7 saw the team embark on a mission to rescue Anna Kolcheck's father Arkady, a former KGB agent who is close to the team. Hetty had officially authorized them to rescue CIA undercover agent Valinski, who was previously thought to be dead.
However, G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) also decided to help Anna save her father after finding proof that he is really alive. This became their secret side mission during their trip to Russia.
Based on the synopsis for the upcoming episode, G. Callen's mysterious past will be uncovered. Not much is known about his personal life, but CBS revealed that his father Konstantin Chernoff was believed to have died in 2008. Despite the information on Chernoff, his whole life is shrouded in mysteries. Fans will finally find out what the "G" in Callen's name stands for, the report relays.
In Los Angeles, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) will spice up Eric Beale's (Barrett Foa) otherwise sedentary life behind the computer. Viewers will get to see Beale participate in some exciting activities.
Unfortunately, there will be no new "NCIS Los Angeles" episode this Monday night because CBS will air the Grammy Awards. Fans may be disappointed with this news, but they just have to hold their suspense because the episode "Matryoshka Part 2" will be pushed back to Feb. 22, Carter Matt reports.
Meanwhile, the next episode after "Matryoshka" is titled "Revenge Deferred." Although there is still no available synopsis for the Feb. 29 episode, the title itself hints at some form of danger for the team or the other characters.
"NCIS Los Angeles" season 7 episode 16 airs every Monday at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
