'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 8 Episode 20: Squad Tracks Down a Nuke Peddler
The squad will hunt down a potential traitor in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."
In the episode titled "From Havana With Love," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that the NCIS team will be tapped to probe a case involving a defense contractor. She is closely associated with the government's nuclear program as a weapon designer. Interestingly, her own husband will tip off the NCIS about her extracurricular activities. According to him, she has been giving Navy secrets to a foreign government in exchange for money.
To find out if the allegations are true, Hetty (Linda Hunt) will send Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) on an undercover mission. Both of them will pose as employees at a Cuban club where the contractor's husband works. Kensi will act as a professional dancer, while Deeks will slum it out as a bathroom attendant. They will have to find out if the husband's admission will hold water or if he has an ulterior motive.
Fans of the series are still waiting for the promised wedding between Kensi and Deeks. It has been a while since he proposed to her. Deeks popped the question when Kensi was unconscious following a terrible accident. When she became depressed with her inability to walk, Deeks had no choice but to take back the ring. Now that Kensi's condition has been progressing nicely, he appears to be getting ready to ask her to marry him again.
Last episode, Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) boarded a plane to stop two people from selling classified information on a missile destroyer to terrorists. When a West Central Aerospace engineer was found murdered, it was revealed that the project he was working on was stolen and en route to Tokyo. The NCIS agents managed to retrieve the files after a major scuffle with the bad guys 36,000 feet in the air.
