'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 3 Episode 19: Team Races Against Time to Save a Dying Colleague
Dr. Wade's (CCH Pounder) life will be in grave danger in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans." Will Pride (Scott Bakula) end up losing a valuable member of his team?
In the episode titled "Quid Pro Quo," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that the entire city will be put at risk due to a super virus outbreak. The NCIS team will reportedly discover the potential catastrophe while investigating a horrible accident at the naval base. A further probe will reveal that a Seabees unit was poisoned with a contagious disease. Pride and the others must race against time to stop the virus from spreading. If they fail, the entire city will face a disastrous epidemic unlike anything it has encountered before.
Things will become more complicated when Dr. Wade is discovered to have been infected with the bug. It happened when she was performing an autopsy on one of the Seabees members. Dr. Wade will be given just a few hours to live if the NOLA team fails to find an antidote.

Pride will push his agents to their limits to save their beloved colleague. Dr. Wade will not die on his watch, as far as he is concerned. After Brody (Zoe McLellan) left, he promised himself that he would protect his unit members no matter what.
Meanwhile, the episode seems to be the best time for Dr. Wade's adopted son, Danny (Christopher Meyer), to come into the picture. In a previous interview with BuddyTV, Pounder teased that Danny would return in one of the upcoming episodes this installment. The last time viewers saw him, he wanted to join the Navy, to his mother's surprise.
"I think you'll see Danny after real life exams are over. People often forget that these actors are really young and they do actually have to have their school work done and teachers on board and then some want to go to college, so you haven't seen very much of Danny or Pride's daughter because they're all finishing up. I think it's going to be a moment before we see them again and there should be interesting stories once he's free to work, once the actor's free to work," Pounder said.
"NCIS: New Orleans" season 3 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
