'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 4 Episode 2 Spoilers: Squad Tracks Down a Russian Spy

The NOLA squad will have to track down a missing Russian agent in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."

In the episode titled "The Asset," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that Pride (Scott Bakula) and his team will be tapped to search for a missing operative. The Russian is reportedly in the country to provide intelligence on sleeper agents. When his Navy escort is found dead and him gone without a trace, the Americans will immediately launch a huge manhunt. The NCIS is set to work with FBI Director Isler (Derek Webster) again.

It is imperative that the combined forces locate the Russian operative the soonest time possible since the information he has is valuable. He has in his possession a list of agents who are working with the enemy and the Americans must secure it. To track down the missing man, a former sleeper agent named Eva Azarova (Cassidy Freeman) will be asked to help. She and the operative were childhood friends. If there is someone who knows him, it will be her. Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) will be assigned to cooperate with Azarova.

The promo photos (via Spoilers Guide) revealed that the entire NOLA team is on red alert. Isler was shown explaining the emergency to the squad, and Pride, LaSalle (Lucas Black) and the others appeared to be listening attentively to his directives. Plame (Daryl Mitchell) was also seen in the meeting together with Lund (Rob Kerkovich). Meanwhile, Percy (Shalita Grant) seemed to be uncomfortable with the whole thing. A photo showed her being interrogated by both Pride and Isler. What kind of problem is Percy having?

Meanwhile, Gregorio is working hard, as usual, and she was seen leading the chase in one of the images. The agent has adjusted well to the NCIS after getting transferred in the show's previous installment. Pride and the others have given her their trust after she proved her loyalty to the team.

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 4 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
