'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 4 Episode 4 Spoilers: Squad Goes Ghost Hunting

The squad will go ghost hunting in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: New Orleans."

In the upcoming episode titled "Dead Man Calling," the synopsis reveals that the squad will be tapped to investigate a copycat murder. The original crime took place about 150 years ago, spawning a legendary ghost story in the city. When the case brings the agents to the doorstep of a local medium, Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) will find herself shaking with fright, especially when she witnesses a séance.

The promo for the episode shows how spooky the investigation is turning out to be. Almost all of the NCIS members appear to be afraid and disturbed. Pride (Scott Bakula) can be seen asking Dr. Wade (C.C.H. Pounder) if she believes in ghost. Meanwhile, LaSalle (Lucas Black) is trying to make Gregorio admit that she is terrified of spirits, which she promptly denies. Later on, her screams can be heard while they are searching what looks like an abandoned house.

The lightning and thunders affecting the city certainly add an eerie quality to the episode. Sudden gusts of winds have a chilling effect on the NCIS team. Pride and the others must solve the case before some of their members pass out from terror. They will have to find the copycat criminal who started it all.

In the last installment, the squad investigated the case of a missing Russian operative who was in the US to provide intelligence on sleeper agents. When the agent suddenly disappeared, leaving his Navy escort dead, the NOLA team had to speed things up before the situation took a turn for the worse. The Russian had valuable information for the Americans, and they had to secure it the soonest time possible. FBI Director Isler (Derek Webster) even traveled to the Big Easy to supervise the entire operation.

"NCIS: New Orleans" season 4 airs Tuesdays, at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
