'NCIS' Season 11 Spoilers: DiNozzo Sent to Paris, Finds Himself in Trouble Abroad (TRAILER VIDEO)
"NCIS" fans can breathe easy knowing that their beloved cast members have signed contracts through season 13. Many were holding their breaths after Cote de Pablo left last summer. Even though everyone is sticking around for one more season, there are plenty of surprises left in store for the NCIS team as it wraps up the season next week.
Tonight's episode will center on a special assignment given to Tony DiNozzo, who is given the daunting task of bringing home an admiral's daughter from France. However, nothing can ever go right for DiNozzo when it comes to women, and tonight's episode is just one more example of that. The official synopsis states that he must "turn to his team for help after he enters a controversial crime scene."
It's been a team-building season, for the NCIS team, as they welcomed Elizabeth Bishop to the crew after Ziva David left. She has seemingly made herself at home and is fitting in well with the men, who enjoy having a younger "probie" around.
Everything leads up to next week's powerful season finale, which will pay homage to Ralph Waite, who played Gibb's father. The team will investigate a fire on a Naval ship that secretly housed indicted terrorists. The crew will attempt to figure out whether it is a case of simple arson or if an inmate set the blaze in an attempt to escape.
Gibbs, meanwhile, will return to his hometown in order to pay his last respects to his father. Ralph Waite died in real life, and the "NCIS" executives decided that he had been enough of a presence throughout the series that they wanted to do something in his honor on the show. It will likely be one of the few times that fans see an emotional Gibbs as he says goodbye to his mentor and father.
"NCIS" will wrap up its season on Tuesday, May 13 on CBS.
