'NCIS' Season 14 Episode 18 Spoilers: Torres Relives Tragic Past
Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) will be forced to relive a tragic memory of his past in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."
In the episode titled "M.I.A." the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reports that the squad will be reopening a cold case. A case that was previously ruled as an accident will be reinvestigated again when a sailor on his deathbed asks a special favor from Gibbs (Mark Harmon). The dying man continues to insist that what took place in the past was a cold-blooded murder. The NCIS members will try to find out if what he is saying is true. If the claim is correct, they will make sure that justice is served, even though it will come a little later than expected.
The case will take its toll on all the agents, but none more so than Torres. For some reason, it will remind him so much of a tragic time in his past.
Torres came to the NCIS with a lot of baggage. As a deep undercover agent accused of treason, he has yet to fully let go of his resentment. The promo shows that he and Gibbs will clash. Torres appears annoyed at his superior, asking what he is trying to do. Gibbs makes it clear that he is only doing his job. He also warns Torres to do his and not meddle with others' business. What could be the reason for the conflict?
Last episode, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) and Congresswoman Flemming (Mary Stuart Masterson) reached an impasse. She wanted him to run for Congress and leave NCIS. For a while, he seemed to be considering the suggestion. Later on, though, Vance decided that he was happy with his current job. When rumors of Vance's exit in the NCIS started, there were those who claimed that Gibbs would be taking his spot. It looks like it will be a while before the senior agent gives up fieldwork and settles behind a desk.
"NCIS" season 14 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
