'NCIS' Season 15 Episode 6 Spoilers: Gibbs Discovers Jack's Dark Secret
Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane (Maria Bello) is keeping a dark secret, and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is about to find out what in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."
In the episode titled "Trapped," the promo shows the NCIS team gossiping about their new forensic psychologist. Last time, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) introduced the blonde to the agents after having succeeded in uprooting her from the California office. Jack's first meeting with Gibbs was anticlimactic, with the NCIS head not knowing her identity until was too late. Gibbs immediately felt that Jack set him up and was antagonistic toward her.
In the clip, Reeves (Duane Henry) is seen telling the others that Jack was deep into psychological warfare when she was with the Army. Gibbs will waste no time telling her that her dark secret is out. Jack looks too complacent, though, for someone who has had her shady past exposed for everyone to see. She informs Gibbs that he will not want her to try cross analyzing him. In an interview with TV Insider, Bello said that contrary to her image, Jack is not there as Gibbs' enemy.
"There's definitely an immediate working connection between them. He's not her boss. So the playing field is level and they work well together and respect each other. They're equals. The writers didn't create this character as a foil for Gibbs. They didn't just throw her in because they wanted him to have fights with someone," Bello said.
Meanwhile, the episode will also see the team investigating a murder case. The synopsis reveals that a petty officer will be found dead on a golf course. McGee (Sean Murray) will reportedly use his skills to locate the witness to the crime by going over the victim's ham radio. Elsewhere, Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) will show the team that he can be generous when he wants to.
"NCIS" season 15 airs on Tuesdays, at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
