Ndamukong Suh Kick to Matt Schaub's Groin Intentional? (VIDEO)

It's becoming his own violent Thanksgiving tradition. One year after he stepped on Green Bay Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh kicked Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin during the first half.

The NFL has not made a decision on whether to fine Suh for the incident but for now, he's avoided a suspension for the Mortal Combat-like kick. (See Suh kick Schaub in video below).

"Our office has notified the Lions that Ndamukong Suh will not be suspended for last Thursday's incident," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in a statement. "It will be reviewed for a potential fine."

The kick happened after Schaub threw a deep pass to the 50-yard line. As Suh went down face first, his left foot flung up and kicked the quarterback in the groin. Schaub is seen clutching his crotch and then falling backward onto the turf.

The Lions don't think Suh played dirty but the crew from "NFL AM" disagrees. Given Suh's track record, sportscasters on "NFL AM" generally agreed that Suh has not learned his lesson from last Thanksgiving and that his groin kick this year was intentional.

Suh has had reputation of being a dirty player, having been fined four times and suspended once in his first three seasons with the league. He was thrown out of the Packers game.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said that NFL officials have noticed that Suh has made a "conscious effort" to change his ways this season, committing just one penalty in 11 games. However, Rapoport predicted that the Detriot Lions defensive tackle will likely get fined for this incident.

Schaub did not mince words when he spoke about Suh to Houston radio 610-AM.

"You don't want a player like that," said Schaub . "The stuff that he stands for and the type of player he is, that's not Houston Texan-worthy. That's not what we're about as a football team, as individuals, collectively as a group, we're not that type of person."
