Wrap sharing

This is a most-requested feature that allows players to share their wrap creations and to browse and download wraps shared by others. Players can also edit and tweak downloaded wraps. The new option can be found in the Paint and Wrap section.

Snapshot Pro

This is a new mode that allows players to create "stunning" photos of their cars and share it with the community. Snapshot Pro also provides players with a number of custom settings and pre-set filters so they can take the best shots.

Customization items

"Need for Speed's" February update also brings more than 100 new customization items for 11 new cars. These cars include the following:

  • Ford Focus RS
  • Chevrolet Camaro Z28
  • BMW M3 E92
  • Ford Mustang Boss 302
  • Ford Mustang Foxbody
  • Ford Mustang GT
  • Mazda MX5 (2015)
  • Nissan 180sx Type X
  • Nissan Silvia Spec-R
  • Subaru BRZ Premium
  • Subaru Impreza WRX

Competitive play

Players who want to race competitively with others can now do so with the newly added "Competitive" option found at the front menu.

New license plates options

Showcase also brings new options to license plates. Although players still can't change the text, they can, however, change the background and apply new frames to their license plates. The backgrounds are inspired by past "Need for Speed" titles, including Tri City Bay, Bayview, Redview, Olympic City, Rockport, Fairhaven, and Palmont City.

Gas station repair is back

The "Need for Speed" February update also brings back a feature that was available in previous titles. This is the ability of gas stations to repair cars. When the new update rolls out, players will be able to drive through any gas station in Ventura Bay and have their cars repaired for free. New gas stations will be added in future as well.

New trophies and achievements

The upcoming update adds three new trophies and achievements. These are as follows:

  • Filter Addict - Take a Snapshot with a Filter in Snapshot Pro Mode
  • Wrap Artist - Share a Wrap with the Need for Speed Community
  • Climbing the Ranks - Reach Monthly Rank 10 by completing Daily Challenges

Showcase is a free update for "Need for Speed." It will roll out starting Wednesday, Feb. 3.
