'Need for Speed' Reboot Gone Gold, List of Trophies Revealed
Fans who have been waiting for the "Need for Speed" will be able to get a copy of the game very soon as the latest full reboot in the franchise has now gone gold. According to Yibada, the open world racing video game developed by Ghost Games and published by Electronic Arts is now ready for its upcoming release.
In terms of initial developments, the team behind the game announced that the game is ready and complete. The project itself will get its overall completion once Ghost Games releases the DLCs it has already lined up to come after the launching of the game, which is scheduled on Nov. 3.
But for those who have been itching to try the racing game already, Game Spot revealed that Xbox One players can get the game five days before the game will be released. Electronic Arts announced that "Need for Speed" will be playable for 10 hours beginning today, Thursday, Oct. 29, through the EA Access.
Ghost Games also disclosed, ahead of the game's release, the list of trophies that will be available in the game, according to Gear Nuke. There will be a total of 31 trophies once the game arrives and each trophy is achievable through variety of ways. Some of those ways include beating personal and record times, meeting icons, reaching certain Rep levels and of course, winning races and events.
The "Platinum Trophy" is considered the biggest trophy and one of its requirements in order to attain it is to get the other 30 trophies. Other trophies include "Iconic Builder," which can be attained by becoming a Build Icon, and "RWB" which is reported to have never been achieved before. This trophy can be achieved by meeting the legendary builder Nakai-San. The "Getting Noticed" trophy can be obtained upon reaching Rep level 25. However, the source cited that only 12.5 percent of the total PSN users have ever reached that level.
"Need for Speed" will also be released for the PS4 console. The PC version has been delayed to 2016.
