NeNe Leakes Won't Confirm She Will Return to 'Negative' 'RHOA' Full Time
NeNe Leakes does not know if she will appear full time on "Real Housewives of Atlanta," and could be working on a spinoff series.
Leakes, 46, has been the subject of recent rumors concerning her quitting the popular Bravo TV series but the actress and reality television star may have put those rumors to rest by appearing at the recent NBC Upfronts which previewed the shows appearing on the network where she works. However, Leakes admitted that there was no guarantee she would appear on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" in the same capacity that she has been as a prominent member of the show.
"I will still work for Bravo. I'm happy to stay on. We just need to work out some things," NeNe recently told Rob Shuter of NaughtyButNiceRob.com. "I'm happy to do some things. I don't know if I'm happy to be a full-time Housewife."
Leakes, the only original cast member left on the show after six seasons, says the negativity on the show is affecting her everyday life.
"I wouldn't say outgrown because people would want to throw eggs at me. I would just say that I have grown and I'm at a different place in my life and I personally don't want to go to work everyday where you have to be negative," she told Shuter. "When I wake up every morning and I go off to be negative, it feels like it spills over into my regular life. You become what you work with."
Porsha Williams, 32, recently appeared on "The Rickey Smiley Show" where she was questioned about a cryptic tweet written by her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Leakes that could be hinting at her leaving their reality television series. Williams explained why Leakes may have issues with the popular show.
"She has a problem with where the whole show is going. Last season was really dark," Williams said on the radio show. "She said that she feels like it's changed."
