Netflix News: Everything to Know About What's New and What's Going for November 2017

For the past year, Netflix has been consistently and persistently fighting to claim the top spot of being the best streaming service. Subscriptions have risen exponentially, and the streaming giant has managed to penetrate a lot of countries. Every month, Netflix adds more titles, and it seems that in order to stay relevant in a world of fast-paced changes, they have amped up the list of new films and TV series to be added for November 2017.

According to reports, perhaps the most notable from the list is "Mudbound," Marvel's "The Punisher," and "La La Land." The first of the three was released last August, and it is a historical drama that takes on a storyline of a mother trying to juggle raising her children, addressing traumas, and battling prejudice.

Meanwhile, "The Punisher" stars Thomas Jane as the title's hero and it is added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that was originally made by Netflix. "La La Land" is also bound to get many views as it stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in a musical-like film that almost won the Oscar Awards.

Aside from the highly anticipated titles, Netflix is also going to add some original series titled "Godless," "Lady Dynamite" season 2," Alias Grace," Frontier" season 2," as well as others such as "John Wick," "Men in Black II," and Hacksaw Ridge. All in all, Netflix has definitely upped the game in what their streaming service offers to its subscribers. Fans of "Stranger Things" also recently rejoiced as the second season has already made its way for binge-watching purposes.

Although there is a lot to expect for the new titles making their way to Netflix, there will also be some who will be leaving the streaming page. Vanity Fair has a full list of what is arriving and what is leaving, but the most notable of the latter group is "The Matrix" film series, "V for Vendetta," and "How I Met Your Mother" seasons 1 to 9.
