Eddie Long Update: Mystery Accuser Takes Part in Settlement

A fifth young man from the Bishop Eddie Long sexual misconduct settlement has been revealed after seven weeks of a FOX 5 Atlanta investigation.

Centino Kemp, a 22-year-old aspiring singer, was tracked down and questioned by FOX 5 Atlanta’s Dale Russell. Although Kemp was unwilling to answer any questions relating to the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church bishop accused of rape, he provided a wealth of information for Russell’s cameras.

A tattoo on Kemp’s wrist revealed that he felt connected to the bishop in some way.

“Eddie Long,” the black text on his wrist reads. The red ink that follows says, “Never a Mistake, Always a Lesson.”

Kemp did not file a lawsuit along with the four young men who allegedly received a monetary settlement from Long in May. However, FOX 5 reported that Kemp received settlement money.

Although Kemp did not admit to any settlement with the Georgia megachurch pastor, FOX 5 Atlanta caught up with him outside a recording studio that reportedly costs $100 per hour.

Russell’s sources informed him that Kemp had taken countless sessions in the studio over the past two months.

Some of the music recorded by the alleged victim of Long’s sexual misconduct spoke from the perspective of a scorned lover, according to Russell.

Kemp, an openly gay man who grew up in the Bahamas, reportedly met Long as a teenage Florida college student visiting the New Birth congregation.

After four young men filed lawsuits against Long for sexual misconduct, Kemp allegedly came forth. However, his name was never revealed to the public.

A lawyer familiar with the case said Kemp was “different from the other young men...one piece of the puzzle that never fit,” according to Russell.

When asking the mysterious Kemp about his music career, he was happy to respond.

However, he quickly retreated to an awaiting stretch limousine when the New Birth bishop’s name was brought up. An in-depth look into the life of Kemp will premiere on Fox 5 Atlanta on Thursday evening.
