New England Patriots News: A Look At The Patriots Line-up After Trade Deadline

The NFL trade deadline on Tuesday left New England Patriots fans 'disappointed'.

This, according to NESN.com's Doug Kyed, who put up a Twitter poll on whether or not the Patriots should make a trade or not. 70% of fans answered with a yes, while the other 30% went the other way. The New England Patriots did choose not to make a trade.

Kyed adds that the Patriots line-up was already solid prior to the trade deadline, aside from some minor tweaks.

"Acquiring extra depth at key positions would have been helpful, but the Patriots are 7-0, have an incredibly deep roster and already have made seven trades, dating back to training camp," Kyed wrote. They also need to free up three spots if they hope to add linebacker Dane Fletcher and defensive tackle Chris Jones, both of whom are on PUP, and center Bryan Stork, who is eligible to come off short-term injured reserve this week, to their 53-man roster."

A day after the trade deadline, here is how the Patriots roster looks like: the quarterback position is a choice between Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo. In another report by Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Brady's performance has been on point as of late, scoring 20 touchdowns with one interception.

Garoppolo, on the other hand was described as being "more shrewd as time passes", at the very least making him an asset for the team.

The four running backs are comprised of Dion Lewis, LaGarrette Blount, James White, and Brandon Bolden. Brady even publicly praised Lewis on Monday during a radio interview.

"It's unbelievable how he's been able to make people miss," Brady said of his teammate.

The five wide receivers are composed of Brandon LaFell, Julian Edelman, Keshawn Martin, Danny Amendola, and Aaron Dobson. The tight end is made up of Rob Gronkowski, Scott Chandler and Michael Williams.

The rest of the roster:

Offensive line: Cameron Fleming, Sebastian Vollmer, Marcus Cannon, David Andrews, Bryan Stork, Tre' Jackson, Shaq Mason, Josh Kline, Ryan Wendell.

Defensive tackle: Malcom Brown, Sealver Siliga, Alan Branch, Dominique Easley, Akiem Hicks, Chris Jones.
