That win helped them snap a two-game losing streak and are now looking to get their biggest win this season against the Patriots.
Fatigue should not be an issue for Washington as they are coming off a bye week and should be well prepared as they face New England away from home.
Meanwhile, little is left unsaid about how great the Patriots are playing so far.
They have an unbeaten record and have dominated their opponents with stifling defence and excellent play in the offensive end.
Tom Brady is playing on a different level at the moment and it does not seem like he is showing signs of slowing down.
In their last game, they completely dominated the Miami Dolphins as they won 36-7.
This is their fifth straight game as they were given an early bye week in week four of the season, but with everything clicking for the Patriots, having a week off may be the worst thing that can happen to them.
Especially playing at home, New England should enjoy a big advantage over the Redskins in this match, and they should only be wary of being complacent as they battle Washington.
