New Updates for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Last May saw the release of the CD Projekt RED game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." Since then, updates for the game have also been made available for the gamers.
The newest downloadable update for "Witcher 3" is a new game plus mode. When players have finished the game, they now have the ability to start a new game with all of the equipment and recipes that they were able to obtain during the first game. They also get to keep their skills-levels and money.
However, players shouldn't expect the same level of gaming that they experienced when they played the game the first time around. Players starting a new game from a cleared game will find out that their enemies are stronger which makes this game more challenging. Players may also find that they didn't get to keep some things from their previous game. For their Gwent cards and trophies, they would have to play the levels again. The same is true for the usable items they had during the previous game.
Another issue with the update concerns the new game's starting level. Both the player who ends the game at level 30 or higher and the player who finishes the game at a level lower than 30 start the game again on the same level. Both players start the new game off at level 30, regardless of their level before.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is expected to have two major expansions. These are scheduled to be released in October and in the earlier part of 2016. The first expansion is called "Heart of Stone" while the second expansion is "Blood & Wine."
This 9.51 MB game plus mode update is available for the Xbox One. The PC and PS4 versions are expected to also be available soon.
