New Web Tool Offers One-Stop Shop for Donors
A new web tool that makes searching for non-profits a one-stop shopping experience is now available to donors.
Well-respected Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) launched "ServantMatch" to help match donors with specific ministries and other faith-based non-profits.
Using "ServantMatch," donors can choose the type of organization they would like to give to, and then view and research all of the organizations that have related giving opportunities within each of the categories and subcategories.

Those wishing to give to hunger relief in Africa, for example, would search the category "Disaster Relief & Development," then by the subcategory "Hunger Relief" and then "Africa."
Various relief organizations involved in hunger relief will appear for the searcher to consider and research.
"The timing of the launch, just as year-end donation plans are being formulated, is very appropriate," said Dan Busby, acting ECFA president.
"This is a one-stop shop for donors," he said. "From our website, donors can go directly to a particular member donor page and give, whereas before, they might have had to search many different websites individually before they finally found the ministry for which they were looking."
ECFA members are among the most respected and trusted faith-based non-profits in the world. By using "ServantMatch," donors can quickly determine if a ministry is an ECFA member, what the organization's mission is, review important financial information about the ministry and then be linked directly to the ministry's website for giving.
ECFA currently has more than 1,300 active members. But only about 250 different giving opportunities are currently featured in "ServantMatch." Other member ministries will be added to the site in the coming months.

ECFA, founded in 1979, provides accreditation to evangelical Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fund-raising and board governance.
