New York Giants Cornerback Janoris Jenkins Suspended Indefinitely for Missing Practice on Monday
The New York Giants have been getting a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons lately.
Weeks after two-time Pro Bowler Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was handed a one-game suspension for walking out of the Giants' "recovery day" session, another veteran cornerback has gotten himself in trouble for skipping practice without informing the team following their bye week.
Giants head coach Ben McAdoo has announced that Janoris Jenkins has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.

"As a member of this team, there are standards and we have responsibilities and obligations. When we don't fulfill those obligations, there are consequences. As I have said before, we do not like to handle our team discipline publicly. There are times when it is unavoidable, and this is one of those times," McAdoo said on Tuesday, via the Giants' official website.
Apparently, Eli Apple and Paul Perkins also missed Monday's practice due to travel issues, but they have informed the team. Still, they will be fined for their tardiness.
With all the insubordination lately, one has to wonder if McAdoo has lost the Giants' locker room.
According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, that seems to be the case and his sources say some players just don't care anymore since they aren't going to make the playoffs this year. Not after they lost star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for the rest of the season with a fractured left ankle.
However, several influential members of the team have denied that the players have lost respect for their head coach.
"No. I don't think that's the case [that there is a lack of respect for McAdoo]. I don't think it's a deal on purpose trying to break rules or trying to do anything," quarterback Eli Manning said, via ESPN.
Zak DeOssie, Jonathan Casillas, Landon Collins, Andrew Adams and Rodgers-Cromartie also said the players respect the coach.
