New York Giants vs New York Jets: Watch National Football League Preseason, Live Stream, Start Time, Preview
It is an early battle between two New York teams.
As the preseason of the National Football League continues, a local match-up pits the New York Jets against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
The match is on August 29, 2015 at 7:00 PM ET.
Both teams have played two games so far and the two New York franchises have split the games as they both hold 1-1 records.
Despite a preseason game, expect a lot of action and anticipation in the match as the neighboring rivals will want an early win over their opponents.
For the Jets, they are nursing a few injuries as Davon Walls, Antonio Allen and Zach Sudfeld are placed on the injured-reserve list for different knocks.
Expect Ryan Fitzpatrick to start the game as quarterback, with Matt Flynn getting some playing time as well.
Running backs Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell should also get some ample playing time as they try to reach match fitness for the regular season.
In their first preseason game, the Jets fell heavily to the Detroit Lions 23-3, with their defence allowing 10 points in the first and third quarter, while their offense failed to convert a single touchdown.
However, they were able to make amends in their second game against the Atlanta Falcons, as the Jets found themselves down 14-0 after the first period but went for 30 unanswered points to hold on to a 30-22 win.
On the other hand, the Giants have four players listed as injured as Justin Currie, Mykkele Thompson, Chris Harper and Marcus Harris are out.
Eli Manning and Ryan Nassib are going to be the usual quarterback for the team with the former expected a few minutes in order to spare him any possible problems.
Odelle Beckham, Jr. is easily the man to watch for the Giants as his impressive catches and runs often leave the crowd in awe.
The Giants have faced the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars, losing big to the Bengals 23-10, but dominating the Jaguars 22-12.
