Coming into Sunday's game, the 49ers have beaten two of the other New York teams, the Jets and Bills, and are looking for the Trifecta, beating all New York Teams.

In both games, San Francisco outscored their New York opponents 79 - 3.

But what it comes down to Sunday will be whether the potent offense of NY Giants can put handle the smothering defense of the 49ers.

The 49ers defense is ranked 2nd in the league and is planning to limit effectiveness of Giants' Eli Manning and Victor Cruz. Eli Manning had 316 Yards and 2 Touchdowns. Victor Cruz had 10 Receptions for 142 Yards during the 2011 Championship matchup, where the 49er defense limited Giants run game to only 87 Yards.

Alex Smith, Vernon Davis and Frank Gore are back and ready to distinguish their maturity since the Championship game loss.

49er currently have won 8 straight games at home.

Will Eli Manning rise to the occasion against Alex Smith? Let's compare.

Alex Smith currently holds the best Passer Rating with 108.7 Avg. Yards, 8 touchdowns and 1 int.

Eli Manning has 10 touchdowns with 5 int and ranked 3rd with 309.0 Avg. Yards.

Frank Gore and company currently ranks 1st in Rushing Avg Yards with 196.2 and 2nd in Pass Defense with 181.2.

If the 49ers can limit Eli Manning appearance and run the ball effectively they will definitely avenge their 2011 NFC Championship Game Loss.

To add to the drama, Giants coordinator Kevin Gilbride on Thursday made a comment about 49ers defensive leader Justin Smith calling him a "beast" and "gets away with murder," for holding offensive linemen.

Niners coach Jim Harbaugh backed up his defensive lineman accusing Gilbride of trying to "influence" officiating the game.

"Kevin Gilbride's outrageous, irrational statement regarding Justin Smith's play is, first, an absurd analogy - It's obvious that the Giants coaching staff's sole purpose is to use their high visibility to both criticize and influence officiating." said Harbaugh

Mark this game it's going to be full of suspense, excitement and maybe some revenge.
