So far this season, New York have gotten the better of their rivals as they have beaten them in all of their meetings so far.

This is the last meeting of this series and Tampa Bay have yet to solve the puzzle on how to beat New York's pitchers. Their first meeting in the series ended in a 4-1 win for New York, with Stephen Drew scoring on a Brett Gardner bases-loaded walk in the fifth.

Tampa Bay found a tying run in the top of the sixth after David DeJesus scored when the Yankee fielder chose to throw towards second base to reach Asdrubal Cabrera. However, Brian McCann immediately gave New York back the lead after hitting a 385-foot home run. That was his second of the season and from then the Yankees continued rolling.

Carlos Beltran would then score after Stephen Drew doubled to make things 3-1 for the hosts.

Finally, at the bottom of the eighth, McCann scored his second run of the game after Jacoby Ellsbury advanced to first after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.

In their second meeting, McCann would again lift the Yankees on his shoulders as he came up big after two of his hits resulted in three points.

Ellsbury started things off in the bottom of the first inning, before McCann doubled on a hit, allowing Mark Teixeira to score.

Steven Souza trimmed the Yankee lead after scoring in the third after Cabrera doubled, but McCann simply could not be stopped.

On the bottom of the fifth, he doubled to left center, allowing Ellsbury and Brett Gardner to score to give them a 4-1 lead.

Tampa Bay were able to score behind Logan Forsythe's triple which made James Loney score, but they could not muster enough to come back and lost 4-2.

Hoping for their first win over the Yankees this season, Tampa Bay should come up with a way to control New York's big hitters and score on their runs.
