Sounds promising, but what makes it different from AMC's hit zombie show, "The Walking Dead"?

According to The Hollywood Reporter's breakdown of the two series, though both of them are set in a post-apocalyptic world, "The Walking Dead," which is based on the Robert Kirkman graphic novels of the same name, focuses on rebuilding humanity rather than finding a cure for the outbreak. In contrast, "Z Nation" is all about the cure and centers on the struggle to save humanity after a zombie apocalypse.

"Z Nation" stars "Lost" alum Harold Perrineau, Tom Everett Scott, and DJ Qualls.

Cinemablend reports that although the description of the show hints of violence and a lot of horror scenes, there might be a bit of humor worked in, especially with the casting of Qualls and Scott, who are both adept in comedy.
