NewSong Heads Out on 'Very Merry Christmas Tour' with Audio Adrenaline and More

Christian group NewSong is getting ready to venture out on the "Very Merry Christmas Tour" along with Audio Adrenaline, Sidewalk Prophets, Jason Castro and special guest Love & The Outcome.

NewSong will be only playing songs from their Christmas albums this tour, The Christmas Shoes and The Christmas Hope, as well as their upcoming Swallow The Ocean: Christmas Edition digital exclusive.

The album includes three new recordings: "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas," "Go Tell It On The Mountain," and the group's next holiday single, "White As Snow," written by Russ Lee, Eddie Carswell, Stephen Carswell and Seth Mosley.

NewSong's "Very Merry Christmas Tour" begins on November 30 and will move through 15 cities including: Wichita, Kansas; Marion, Illinois; Lancaster, Ohio; and Pascagoula, Mississippi, among other cities, before wrapping up December 16 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Certain dates will also be special "Pay What You Can" admission shows. Those dates are available at verymerrychristmastour.com.

"The birth of Jesus is the greatest reason to celebrate, so we're thrilled to present the 'Very Merry Christmas Tour's' biggest line-up ever," said Eddie Carswell, NewSong founding member in a press release. "We're especially excited to offer three 'Pay What You Can' shows this year, giving families-who might not otherwise be able to afford it-the opportunity to attend a meaningful night of Christmas music and worship together."

NewSong's #1 mainstream radio hit "The Christmas Shoes," which is the biggest song of their career. The song was adapted to a series of best-selling novels by Donna VanLiere and two CBS television movies.

NewSong has recorded 18 albums since 1981, and have 20 #1 Christian radio singles. They have one GRAMMY Award nomination, and were placed in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame,

They also founded The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, the #1 tour in the world (first quarter) for three consecutive years.
