Newsong's Winter Jam Tour 2004 tour dates announced
Reunion Records artist Newsong will kick off its ninth annual Winter Jam Tour on January 8, 2004, at the Richmond County Civic Center, Augusta, GA. The tour will feature well-known artists Audio Adrenaline, Relient K, Todd Agnew, and Jadyn Maria.
This is definitely one of the strongest lineups weve had, says Eddie Carswell, one of NewSongs founding members. Audio Adrenaline is a consistent youth group favorite. Relient K is one of the biggest acts of 2003. Todd Agnew is certainly one of our industrys breakthrough success stories. Jadyn Maria has been one of the most talked about new artists in the industry and illusionist Brock Gill is going to add a whole new dimension to the show.
The tour is scheduled to kick off in Augusta, GA on January 8, 2004, and will stop in 20-plus cities. A full listing of the tour cities can be found below and at www.jamtour.com.
Tour promoter Roy Morgan of Premier Productions says the additions to this years tour which include full video and a performance by illusionist Brock Gill will be the highlighted boost in this years tour.
"Were really excited about the new elements that were adding this year, states tour promoter Roy Morgan of Premier Productions. This show is going to be about visual overload. Adding video and a non-musical act are going to give this tour a makeover and give the audience even more for their money.
Tickets to the Winter Jam Tour only start at $10.00, intended to allow fans to bring more people who havent heard the Gospel to the event.
Weve said it every year -- this tour is one of the most diverse and affordable shows out there -- and people continually respond. The Winter Jam concept has proven itself consistently popular with fans who respond by coming out in bigger crowds every single year, says tour producer Troy VanLiere, of VanLiere-Wilcox.
Newsong's Jam events have benefited the appearances from top Christian names such as: Newsboys, Rebecca St. James, Audio Adrenaline, Carman, Anointed, Plus One, and Rachael Lampa.
The Winter Jam Tour of 2002 welcomed crowds as many as 15,000, while the 2003 Winter and Summer Jam dates drew nearly 125,000 people.
