Nexus 10 2 Release Date Set for Cyber Monday?

The Nexus 10 2 release date could be scheduled for today as Google might attempt to capitalize on the hype surrounding Cyber Monday, according to the latest rumors.

The company was originally rumored to be launching the device on Black Friday, but remained quiet throughout that day not mentioning anything about the tablet. Google's announcement would be a bit under the radar today, but it would allow the company to have a broader reach with the Nexus 10 having it out in more markets at launch, according to GottaBeMobile.

A recently leaked image of the Nexus 10 hinted at the device launching on Nov. 22. The original version of the picture featured the words "LG Electronics Nexus 10 November 22 LTE black and white." The message was originally written in Korean and was translated by PhoneArena. However, that date also came and went with no real news on the device.

Another leaked image which comes from Telefonica reveals what the price could be for the upcoming Nexus device which is said to be around $482 for the cellular and Wi-Fi model, according to the report. The Wi-Fi only version will be a bit cheaper.

Both of these images confirm that LG will be manufacturing the tablet as Samsung's involvement with the second-gen model had been up in the air for quite some time. The device is set to launch with Android 4.4 KitKat and the Google experience launcher.

The original Nexus 10 was released at the end of last year and was made by Samsung and Google.

The device was marketed as one that featured a display with better resolution than the screen found on the original iPad with Retina.

The tablet comes equipped with a 10-inch WQXGA True RGB Real Stripe PLS display with 2560x1600 resolution at 300ppi, a 1.9-megapixel camera in the front, a 5-megapixel rear shooter, 16/32GB of internal memory, 2GB RAM, a Quad-core Mali T604 processor, Wi-Fi Bluetooth, Dual-side NFC, Micro USB, MicroHDMI, Android 4.2 (upgradable to Android 4.4), and a 9000 mAh Lithium polymer battery.
