Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 Android 4.4.3 Update To Hit T-Mobile Models Today

The Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 Android 4.4.3 update could roll out to T-Mobile customers by the end of the day.

The T-Mobile support page says the Android 4.4.3 OTA update will be released to Nexus 5 users on June 2. It is expected to bring some generic "Security enhancements" and "various bug fixes," and will upgrade the firmware number to KTU84M.

There is also another support page that claims the latest version of the Nexus 7 will receive the same update with a KTU84L firmware number. Both of them will be 54MB and will bring some bug fixes and tweaks to the slate.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is now rolling out for the original version.

This device launched back in August of 2012 and is one of the last to receive the new software. It started rolling out in Germany earlier this week and it will bump the firmware of the device up to N8000XXUDNE4.

The 2014 edition received the same update last month.

The changes made to the software don't vary that much from other Samsung products. The update brings a mostly the same features including immersive mode, cloud printing, white status bar icons and system improvements. The update should roll out in other markets sometime during the coming weeks.

The Android 4.4 KitKat update is now rolling out for the Galaxy Note 2 on Sprint.

It is finally available for customers on the carrier and will bring new updates including cloud printing, NFC tap-to-pay support, all white icons in the status bar, full screen album art, and the ability to put a camera shortcut on the lockscreen. The smartphone's performance will be improved and there will also be various stability fixes with it.

Sprint customers that don't get a notification for the update could check for it in the Settings menu.
