Nick Cannon Doubles Down: Planned Parenthood Is 'Modern Day Eugenics'
A week after stating that Planned Parenthood is committing "real genocide" on the black community through abortion, popular musician and actor Nick Cannon not only stands by his statement, but has now added that the controversial abortion provider is participating in "modern day eugenics."
"Yeah, it's population control," the "America's Got Talent" host and former husband of Mariah Carey told TMZ about his last week's statement, according to Fox News.
Cannon, who recently enrolled at Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he is studying communications at the historically black college, added that Planned Parenthood engages in "modern day eugenics."

During an interview on "The Breakfast Club" show on New York's Power 105.1 FM last week, Canon said, "Hillary (Clinton) was sneaking and cheating. Think about all the stuff they did with Planned Parenthood and all that type of stuff. That type of stuff is to take our community — and forget gentrification, it's real genocide, and it's been like that for years."
He added, "This system is not built for us. This is not our land. I appreciate it, I love it, wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but this wasn't designed for our people."
Cannon also said, "I come from a long line of community leaders and I've always thought that to who much is given, you're responsible for that, much is required. So I use my platform to tell the truth at the end of the day." He was apparently alluding to Luke 12:48 in the Bible.
The rapper's comments came the same day that Students for Life at the University of Chicago was forced to cancel an event speaking out against how abortion has ravaged the black community due to the "prospect of an organized protest." The group had planned to host a discussion with the founder of the pro-life Radiance Foundation, Ryan Bomberger. His mother was raped, but she did not choose to get an abortion. The event was titled "Black and Beautiful: The Social Injustice of Abortion."
When asked about child killers and pedophiles in his interview last week, Cannon alluded to Ephesians 6:12.
"I can never forgive an action 'cause it's almost like, it says they don't wrestle against flesh and blood we wrestle against principalities. So those principalities are evil. Those things, and they can jump on any individual. So when you start to hate an individual as opposed to the principality, that's where we get confused," said Cannon, who noted that his "first language (of faith) is Christianity but I'm fluent in many different spiritualities."
