Nick Gordon Must Stay Away From Bobbi Kristina's Family for A Year
Nick Gordon was ordered to stay away from the Houston family for one year.
Gordon, the husband to singer Whitney Houston's late daughter Bobbi Kristina, will be forced to stay away from his wife's family after he allegedly threatened them on social media accounts like Twitter. Pat, the wife of the late singer's brother Gary Houston, has been on the receiving end of Gordon's hostile tweets recently.
Now, Hip Hollywood is reporting that the Houstons are happy to have Nick stay at least 200 yards from them.
"The family is just happy with the judge's decision to grant the order," a source close to the family tells HipHollywood. "Just happy to have peace."
The news comes after celebrity news website TMZ reports, "Nick Gordon -- who grew up in Whitney's house and married Whitney's daughter -- has been ordered to stay 200 yards away from Pat Houston -- Whitney's sister-in-law and executor of her estate. Pat got the order after claiming she feared for her safety after Nick made threatening comments and posted photos of guns."
When TMZ asked Gordon what he thought about the matter, Bobbi Kristina's husband reportedly said he "doesn't give a (expletive)."
After Gary allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with Gordon, the latter began tweeting photographs of guns and bullets while aiming hostile messages at Pat and Gary Houston.
"Everybody got so (expletive) fake after Mom passed away. Specially Pat," Gordon previously tweeted."@garyhouston (expletive) you had a clear shot on my face. You didn't do (expletive)."
The family friend of the late Whitney Houston went on to detail the types of guns he had in a threatening manner. When visiting SiriusXM! radio show "Sway in the Morning" two years ago, Pat spoke about guiding her niece in her relationship with Gordon.
"I don't put as much energy into it as everybody else does. I know what the deal is so I don't put a lot of energy into certain situations as it relates to Nick and Krissy because they are very young," she said on the radio show. "If her mother were alive I would still voice my opinion. What matters to me is Bobbi Kristina and I'm standing for her mom and I know how momma bear was as it relates to Krissy and I have to continue that."
