Nicki Minaj Leads Celebrities in 9/11 Messages of Condolence

It has been a decade since the attacks of September 11, 2001, however, the painful memory of that tragic day still lives on among family members, friends and colleagues and others affected by the terrorist attacks.

On the 10th anniversary of 9/11 families of victims commemorated those lost in a solemn memorial event, however, stars all over the nation also joined in to honor the victims.

Celebrities across the nation took to Twitter on Sunday to share their thoughts about the 10th anniversary. Young stars from Lea Michele to Lil Wayne offered their condolences to the victims’ families. Moreover, most of the young stars that were then high schools students took to Twitter and looked back on how the city was able to recover despite of the tragic event.

Celebrities came together to say their thoughts and hearts were with all the people affected by the tragedy. Other stars and big entertainment personalities living in New York such as Travie McCoy, Kevin Smith, Denis Leary, Nicki Minaj and even Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to offer their condolences.

"Remembering and praying for all those who lost loved ones 10 years ago today," read joint Twitter account of the Jonas Brothers.

Kevin Jonas added, "Our thoughts and prayers go to the families of all effected by 9-11 #911neverforget."

"Sending my love to the victims of 9/11. Remembering the heroism. The brave men & women. The troops. We become alive in the time of fear," Nicki Minaj said.

Lil Wayne tweeted, "Remembering those we lost on this unforgettable day. God bless their families and may their souls rest in peace."
