According to reports Kidman purchased the building in 2003, but was upset by a new building on Charles Street that ended up blocking her view of the Hudson River. In an effort to move Kidman and husband of six years Keith Urban bought a penthouse suit in West Chelsea in 2011 on 200 Eleventh Street. Since then they have been looking to rent out their Richard Meier apartment. However, they have now ended up selling the apartment for a healthy profit.

Kidman is said to be delighted with her new apartment, which cost $10 million, and allows residents to ride in their cars up an elevator and park in their own private garage adjacent to their own apartment.

Kidman and Urban have other properties in Nashville, as well as Sydney, Australia.

The Australian actress was recently seen in London where she attended the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony and saw Queen Elizabeth famously parachute into the stadium.
