Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Ashley Madison news: Defends husband against Ashley Madison account claims: 'Jionni is a good guy'
While two suicides have been linked to the mystery of the Ashley Madison hack, including that of Texas police chief, celebrities have not been spared from the drama as Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's husband was rumored to have had an account in the cheating site, too.
According to People, the rumors started emerging Monday night as an email account connected to Jionni Lavalle, Polizzi's husband, was identified to be part of the data leak from the website.
Come Tuesday, Polizzi spoke up about how she felt after reading the tabloids and hearing the many speculations. The former "Jersey Shore" star took to Instagram, in a lengthy post and a photo of her and Lavelle during their wedding day, saying, "My husband did not sign up on that website to cheat on me...Jionni is a good guy and doesn't need his name being tarnished. We did nothing wrong to deserve this."
Polizzi said she initially did not want to comment about the issue as she thought the rumor would die down immediately, but seeing that "it's now the 'news of the day,'" she had to speak up and nail everyone who accused her husband of cheating, especially on a website she referred to as "lame ass."
While Polizzi immediately came to her husband's rescue, this is not the first time that Lavelle's name has been scrutinized for having a "wandering eye."
Earlier this year, Polizzi once again defended her husband after reports surfaced about Lavelle flirting and exchanging phone numbers with other women. Polizzi said on Twitter that she has lost respect for the magazine that spoke ill of her husband.
The couple have only been married for almost a year and have two children, Lorenzo, who is now three years old, and Giovanna, who will be turning two this September.
Other big names listed in the hacked accounts include Josh Duggar, the infamous "19 Kids and Counting" reality star, Christian YouTuber Sam Rader, Florida state attorney Jeff Ashton, and even Louisiana GOP official Jason Doré.
