Nigeria, S. Korea to Hold 10 Million Souls Prayer Rally
Nigeria and South Korea will hold a 10 Million Souls Prayer Rally on Wednesday to pray for the problems in Africa, Korea, the Middle East and the world.
"We must arise to deal with issues of war among various nations in Africa and the Middle East, economic recession, bad leadership, political turbulence, idolatry, HIV/AIDS and bird flu diseases currently ravaging the world. There are legions of problems confronting the nations of the world today that only God can solve," said Austine R. Kemie, national secretary for Nigeria Prays, according to the South Korean International newspaper OhmyNews.
The rally is organized by Nigeria Prays and the American Worldwide Chaplaincy Association (AWCA) of South Korea. Kemie said that 10 million Nigerian, Korean, and other West African Christians will be mobilized to pray for world issues and for world revival.
The Nigeria Prays head had announced Nigerias participation on June 25 during a One Day National Prayer Rally for Nigeria where thousands of Christians from across Nigeria attended.
