'Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition' Announced for December, Nintendo Switch Version on the Way?

"Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition," the definitive edition of the recently released single-player adventure game, has been officially announced.

As detailed on the official Twitter account for the game, this version is a perfect starting point for those who have not picked up the game yet. As they tweeted, it is "great for first-timers and those who've played the game alike."

"Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition" will come with never-before-seen content such as new petty crime type mini games and own hallucinatory dream sequences of Mae, the cat lead character of the game.

This title is coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac and Linux on Dec. 13. However, the Twitter account is also teasing that the game is headed to another platform as well.

Stay tuned for news on another console, which I am unable to mention for reasons, but you know what console I'm talking about.

Of course, just looking at the revealed platforms "Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition" has been announced for, it goes without saying that the Nintendo Switch is the mystery console being talked about here.

The original game was not released to the Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch so it looks like players of all platforms will finally be able to experience Mae's crazy adventures.

"Night in the Woods" is all about exploration and story and features a whole host of characters and a lush, vibrant world. The official description for the game reads:

College dropout Mae Borowski returns home to the crumbling former mining town of Possum Springs seeking to resume her aimless former life and reconnect with the friends she left behind. But things aren't the same. Home seems different now and her friends have grown and changed. Leaves are falling and the wind is growing colder. Strange things are happening as the light fades.

And there's something in the woods.
