Nike Air Max BW 'Persian Purple' Available this August; What are the Technology Behind this Shoes? Price, Design and Colorways
Expect Nike Air Max BW revamp in retailers' shelves carrying a new header, the Nike Air Max Zero. Nike already made several tweaks in the classic brands centering the Air Max era. The latest offering will sport the same design but with present technology employed.
The beginning: Air Max BW
The Air Max BW is out in the market for almost 3 decades now. The original design is intended for running and strenuous activities. The mesh-and-synthetic shoes was back then ahead of its age. Primary feature of this product is the no-sew overlay for breathability. Then the Nike-revolution transparent 'air pump' in the sole is another standout.
In recent years, Nike revolutionized the Air Max with two options, Air Max BW Premium and Air Max OG. Both sells for $120 in retailers.
30 years of shoes tech: Air Max Zero
Now with the Air Max Zero on production mode since last year, selling for $150 per pair. There are several colors available that sports technological advancement since Air Max 1. There are three primary benefits of wearing the new Zero product.
First is the tongue-less design and additional breathability. In contrast, the 'old' model needs sock for additional comfort while Zero offers tolerability. Secondly, the Phylon midsole in Nike shoes is already a trademark. However, advanced tech offers lighter and better cushion. Lastly, rubber outsole is added for traction and durability.
Lest we forget, Air Max Zero decides to be gender sensitive. Nike Store said that there are colors to choose for LGBT athletes.
Nike Air Max Zero 'Persian Violet'
Now this is the colorway of Persian violet-black-white that is very much coveted. Nike website is still blank about this model canonically tagged 'Style # 789695-004'. This particular shoes will be out this August 29. The US is already a confirmed market but there are no reports yet whether when is the international release.
In comparison with the other Nike Air Max editions, the BW 'Persian Violet' sports a sort of collectible limited edition color combination. Allegedly, there are several unofficial sites offering this colorway in a pre-order $250 to as high as $500. Nike is quick to clarify though that there is no out-in-the-market 'Persian Violet' yet.
Nike is still is the pre-shipping activities as of now. There are pairs scattered during the past month but these are intended for reviews only. Nike is also keen on reminding the customers that several changes may still be employed in the production.
