Nina Dobrev Dating Rumors: Who Is the Bulgarian-Canadian Actress Dating Now?

There's nothing like a television reunion to ignite old dating rumors that have supposedly died down. "The Vampire Diaries" may have already bid its farewell, but its main stars are still headlining news in the entertainment world.

Has Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Stefan's (Paul Wesley) failed television romance found another life beyond the cameras?

In the now-defunct vampire series, Elena ended up spending the rest of her life with Stefan's older brother, Damon, who coincidentally was played by Dobrev's ex-flame, Ian Somerhalder. If the rumors about Dobrev and Wesley are to be believed, then it is true that reality is far stranger than fiction.

But since neither Dobrev nor Wesley has officially commented on the rehashed rumors about the two of them, there is no way of knowing whether the reports are true or not. It is no secret that the two actors have shared and maintained a close friendship ever since working together on "The Vampire Diaries." It has even been reported in the past that Dobrev made quite an effort to celebrate Wesley's birthday despite having only broken up with Somerhalder, her boyfriend of three years.

Dobrev is also being cited as a possible reason for Wesley's recent split with his girlfriend of four years, Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hayley on "The Vampire Diaries'" spin-off series, "The Originals." The two ex-lovers were recently spotted leisurely strolling together at a farmer's market in Los Angeles. A source recently claimed that Wesley and Tonkin have remained good friends and that the reason they broke up was simply due to their relationship having already run its course.

For her part, Dobrev was rumored to have been dating her good friend, Glen Powell, with whom she has been spotted at various red carpet events. They also reportedly celebrated the New Year together with friends in Texas, and have been seen watching a UFC fight night side by side. A spokesperson for Dobrev and Powell has since claimed that the two are just "good friends."

On the other hand, Nina's 18-year-old pet cat recently passed away and the actress posted a heartbreaking message about it on her Instagram account, even citing her late furry friend as "my soulmate" and "my longest relationship, my rock, my best friend."
