Nokia C1 Specs Latest News: New Leaks Show C1 Will Run Both Android And Windows 10

As reported earlier this year, Finnish company Nokia previously announced that it wants to get back in the game of manufacturing phones. Since then, rumors about their first offering have started making the rounds on the web.

The Nokia C1 has been subject of numerous rumors and leaks these past few months, and given that the end of the year is fast approaching, another report has come out that the Nokia C1 may be offering two variants of the smartphone, one running on Android and another running on Windows 10 Mobile.

According to reports, images of the phone have been leaked showing renders of the phone's design that display the Android-based Z Launcher on one phone and Windows 10 Mobile on another. If these renders are accurate, it may mean the Nokia is coming up with two variants of the smartphone running on different mobile operating systems. Previous reports have only indicated an Android OS variant.

The leak comes from the site Nokia Power User which also claims that the phone's specs will be as follows: there will be one device that has a 5-inch Full HD display, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage and another device that has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The smaller device will have an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and a 5 megapixel selfie camera, while the bigger device will have a 13 megapixel rear facing camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. Another report speculated that the device will be powered by an Intel chipset.

Nokia has been quiet about its plans for their new devices and have not made any official statement about the Nokia C1. When Microsoft bought the company's mobile unit, an agreement was made that Nokia will not be able to make any new phone until the fourth quarter of 2016, when the agreement ends. After this however, Nokia will be able to manufacture its own smartphones.
