Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 Pricing Revealed

Nokia unveiled the new Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

However, the company did not reveal pricing information for the two devices at that time. A U.K. retailer known has Clove has that information and leaked it earlier today.

The Lumia 720 will be available for purchase on April 1 and will come in black. The device will cost 299.99 British pounds, which is equivalent to $455. The handset sports a 4.3-inch display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 2. It also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, and a 2,000mAh battery.

Nokia hopes to deliver a high-end camera performance with the Lumia 720. It comes with a 6-megapixel camera with a large 1.9 aperture with Carl Zeiss optics designed to deliver bright, clear pictures in the day or night. The device is also the first unibody smartphone to offer microSD support.

The Lumia 520 will cost 170 pounds, according to Clove, which is equivalent to about $260.

This handset is SIM-free and will also launch on April 1. It will be one of the most affordable Windows Phone 8 devices in the market and comes with a 4-inch super sensitive touchscreen which Nokia hopes will make it more competitive with other budget smartphones.

The Lumia 520's display has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Other specs on the device include a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

The Lumia 520's 1,430 battery is said to provide around 9.6 hours of talk time and standby time of 15 days. It also comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with abilities such as Smart Shoot, and Cinema Graph.
