PC Advisor released information on Nokia Lumia 940, one of the first ever Windows phones to run Microsoft Windows 10, slating its official release to be the end of summer 2015, citing the Lumia 930's U.K. sale date in July 2014.
Phone Arena has also released the Lumia 940 specs, which includes a 5-inch full HD display in 1080p protected by a Gorilla Glass 4 screen sheet. According to Tech Radar, this version of Gorilla Glass isn't available in the market as of yet, so the Lumia 940 may feature Corning's fourth generation tough specialized glass that's thin and light, yet damage resistant.

The Nokia Lumia 940 is purported to have a 5MP 1080p front cam and a PureView 24MP resolution sporting 60fps 4K video recording capabilities for improved user selfies and video calls.
With WLan, USB 3.0, and NFC it will be a power-packed phone in a compact 137mm x 71mm x 8.9mm size, and weighing in at 149 grams, the Lumia 940 will be a millimeter thinner than its predecessor, but a similar framework in terms of size.
The Nokia Lumia 940 isn't the only device Microsoft is gearing up for release. The computer software and consumer electronics giant is currently developing a Windows phablet that may very well be the Lumia 1330.
