Norway Shooting: Anders Behring Breivik Manifesto Reveals Hatred
The Norway gunman, Anders Behring Breivik, wrote and released a 1500-page manifesto online titled “2083 A European Declaration of Independence” before the shootings took place which reveals the resentment of his family and brutal intolerance for European multiculturalism.
Excerpts from the manifesto which allegedly took Breivik nine years to write show the concern Breivik had for the so called “Islamisation” of Europe.
“Multiculturalism, as you might know, is the root cause of the ongoing Islamisation of Europe which has resulted in the ongoing Islamic colonization of Europe through demographic warfare (facilitated by our own leaders),” wrote Breivik.

His dissatisfaction with the current condition of Europe compelled him to act in a radical way taking measures he felt were necessary to eliminate the ongoing issue of multiculturalism, which he viewed as some sort of cancer.
“In order to successfully penetrate the cultural Marxist/multiculturalist media censorship we are forced to employ significantly more brutal and breath taking operations which will result in casualties,” wrote Breivik. “In order to attack to gain an influential effect, assassinations and the use of weapons of mass destruction must be embraced.”
One could only imagine what else Breivik may have planned in order to execute this mission to rid Europe of issues he also felt were a threat. He urged others to take precautions over the multiculturalism issue.
“Christendom is gradually being deconstructed. It is time that the Pope and his cardinals resist the deliberate deconstruction of European Christendom,” wrote Breivik.
The tactics employed by Breivik to execute his plan were devastating on the people of Europe. But according to the manifesto, Breivik felt he needed to open the eyes of Europeans who were too blind to realize what was happening.
“The ideology that has taken over Western Europe goes most commonly by the name of ‘political correctness’, wrote Breivik. “Some people see it as a joke. It is not. It is deadly serious. It seeks to virtually alter all the rules, formal and informal, that govern relations among people and institutions. It wants to change behavior, thought, and even words we use.”
Interestingly the manifesto also delves into Breivik’s upbringing which he expressed dissatisfaction for. Breivik’s rebellious behavior began at a young age and caused problems between him and his father Jen Breivik.
“I have not spoke to my father since he isolated himself when I was 15 - he was not very happy about my graffiti phase from 13 to 16,” wrote Breivik in the manifesto.
The isolation from his father is a theme Breivik repeatedly brings up throughout the manifesto along with resentment for other family members.
“I do not approve of the super-liberal matriarchal upbringing as it completely lacked discipline and has contributed to feminize me to a certain degree,” wrote Breivik about his mother Wenche Behring.
He also calls his stepmother a traitor and his stepfather a sexually primitive beast in the manifesto.
The writings of Breivik reveal a concerning ultra right-wing position as well as a drastic military mind. This, combined with a strong motive to enforce his beliefs on others, made for devastating results on the Norwegian people.
