'Octo-Mom' Evicted? Suleman Reportedly Faces Financial Trouble for Welfare Fraud

Nadya "Octo-Mom" Suleman has reportedly been evicted from her home after failing to pay the $2,590 rent to the company. Suleman is also allegedly in trouble for failing to report that she made more than allowed by the government while collecting welfare.

"Octo-Mom had not paid her rent for the month of April as of last Wednesday. Then, in the middle of the night, she moved her furniture and the kids out of the home, leaving the house in filth and smelling like urine. The landlord was disgusted. There were beer bottles in the garage and trash littered all throughout the house," a source close to the landlord told Radar Online.

Suleman has seemingly had financial troubles ever since coming into fame for her super-sized family. She has moved around from home to home with her eight children; unfortunately, they have been unable to settle down in one place for a particular length of time.

Now the IRS is reportedly investigating Suleman's financial activity because she earned over $150,248.77 in 2012 and the limit for welfare recipients, which Suleman was at the time, was $119,000. If the government pursues charges against Suleman, she could wind up owing a great deal of money and serve jail time.

During the last year, Suleman ventured into new businesses, including starring in an erotic film, for which she was paid $33,256.77 and then made an appearance at a strip club, which she was paid for. According to reports, Suleman collected over $60,000 in benefits for 2012.

Welfare fraud is punishable by a hefty fine or three or more years in prison. This all comes among rumors that Suleman could lose her children after the photos of her home were published; it's not the first time that Suleman has been investigated for her living conditions and the conditions her children are exposed to. Her previous residence showed drawing on the walls and trash throughout the home.
