Oculus VR announced that starting Feb. 16, gamers can begin pre-ordering Rift Ready PC bundles starting $1,499 for a limited time.

Beginning Tuesday next week, Oculus Ready PCs bundled with the Oculus Rift VR system can be pre-ordered from Alienware, ASUS, and Dell. The bundles will include the VR headset, sensor, remote control, and Xbox One controller, according to Geeky Gadgets.

Users can check if their PCs are up to the required specification by downloading a Windows app from the Oculus Rift website. The said app will help determine if the processor, RAM, and graphics card work with the headset.

The Oculus Rift Ready PC bundles will be available from Best Buy, Amazon, and the Microsoft Store. The company announced that they will also start shipping limited quantities of the bundles to some countries and regions beginning this April, the report relays.

The PC units have already been tried and tested with the VR headset, which costs $599. The price of each bundle ranges from U1,499 to $3,000, Tech Times reports.

Users can choose from the seven available Oculus Rift Ready PC bundles, which include the Asus G11CD ($949), Asus ROG G20CB Model 1 ($1,349), Asus ROG G20CB Model 2 ($1,599), Alienware Area 51 ($2,549), Alienware X51 R3 Model 1 ($999), Alienware X51 R3 Model 2 ($1,499), and Dell XPS 8900 SE ($999).

Gamers can also opt to build their own rigs instead of buying the Rift Read PC bundles. However, they have to remember that their computer should have at least an Nvidia GTX 970 or AMD 290, Intel i5-4590, 8 GB of RAM, and updated Windows 7 SP1 OS or the later versions.

Pre-orders for the Oculus Rift Ready PC bundles will begin on Feb. 16 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time and will run for a limited time only.
