Ohio CCC Mixes Fun and Fellowship
Campus Crusade for Christ at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, held a spring retreat from April 23-25. Before heading out for summer, approximately 250 students gathered for the last retreat of the school year.
The theme of the retreat, "Jesus is the King who is sovereign over whole of history", was chosen, "in light of that fact it makes sense for us to forsake our idols, be clothed with Jesus, value things that God values and surrender all to Jesus," said Bacho Bordjadze, campus director of CCC at Ohio State.
On Friday night, every one gathered for a bonfire. On Saturday, there was time for various recreational activities including canoeing and a football game between student groups living on different sides of the Ohio State campus. For the summer, CCC students from Ohio State plan to participate in missions trips to Ocean City, NJ, Virginia Beach, Traverse City, MI, Baku, Azerbaijan, Aix En Provence, France, among others.
