Olivia Wilde 'Not Beautiful Enough' for Jason Sudeikis? Actress Dishes on Relationship
Olivia Wilde, the actress renowned for her beauty and topping Maxim's Hot 100 list, initially thought that she wasn't pretty enough to date her now-fiance, Jason Sudeikis. The comedian and "Saturday Night Live" cast member proposed to Wilde earlier this year, but she revealed that she first thought he wouldn't be interested.
Olivia Wilde said in an interview that when they first met on "Saturday Night Live," they were seeing people while single. By the time he asked her out six months later, she was intimidated, thinking she wasn't "beautiful enough," despite being consistently called such by magazines like Esquire and GQ.
"I thought, 'He won't be interested in me; I'm not a contender,'" she told Marie Claire in an interview for their April issue. "He was so cool, so funny- I was such a fan of his and had always fancied his speed and his intelligence. He's a brilliant actor with a brain like lightning."

"I felt like fresh meat at the market," she continued. "I thought, 'I'm not beautiful enough or his type.'"
Their first date ended up being full of sparks, though, with her saying she "was overwhelmed" by the "Horrible Bosses" star. Sudeikis, 37, popped the question in January, and Wilde, 29, gladly accepted.
Wilde also explained that had it not been for her previous marriage from Italian prince and filmmaker Tao Ruspoli, she could have never met Sudeikis. She married him at 19, but their union lasted only eight years before they split.
"I had grown up with Tao; we had just drifted," she said. "I felt I had something to prove. If you fall off a horse, you get back up. I am not a quitter. I hung on for as long as possible, until it was more hurtful to stay … I'm so grateful for the pain and the heartbreak. It gave me the courage to leave and brought me to the great love of my life."
Now, Wilde is already focused on her rapidly burgeoning career and marrying Sudeikis. She also said she wouldn't mind starting a family with the comedian.
"I'm open-minded about how many (children), but three, which I love, is like a little party," the actress said. "He's so good with kids … I've never before experienced looking at someone and thinking, 'That's who I want to raise a child with.'"
