Olympic Hurdler Lolo Jones, Virgin, Told 'Having Sex Will Make You Faster' (VIDEO)

Olympic track and field athlete Lori Jones, who often goes by Lori, has stated that her virginity is a gift that she plans on saving for her husband. Of course Jones has no time for marriage now, as she goes for the gold this summer in London.

Training to become an Olympic athlete is no easy task and Lolo Jones knows all about that. She has been training for the 2012 Olympics since the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Jones was projected to take home the gold in 2008 during the 100-meter hurdles, but tripped and finished in seventh place instead.

Jones has been focused on her athletic career since high school, which has left little time for settling down into any serious relationships. For Jones however, not having a serious relationship has delayed a few other things in her life as well. Soon to be 30, Jones recently revealed that she is still a virgin.

"It's just a gift I want to give to my husband," Jones admits, during a HBO trailer for "Real Sports" which is set to air on Wednesday night.

According to Jones, keeping her virginity has been no easy task either. The only thing harder than training to win an Olympic gold medal? Sticking to her principles and saving sex for marriage, according to Jones.

"It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics. Harder than graduating college," Jones said. Getting through college was also no easy feat for the dedicated athlete who had to take part time jobs in order to help pay her way through school.

Jones also revealed that some guys give her a hard time once they discover her chastity.

"I've had guys tell me, if you have sex it will help you run faster," Jones said. "You get teased a lot. A lot of guys won't return your call once they find out."
